Removal


NOTE: The removal procedure description may contain installation steps.


1. Refer to the procedure: Disconnecting and connecting the battery (414-01 Battery, Battery Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).

2. Refer to the procedure: Winch (419-12 Winch, Removal and installation).

3. Tightening torque: 7 Nm.

Warnings:
  • Mark the position of the cables to facilitate installation.
  • To avoid damaging components, use an additional wrench when loosening and tightening terminals.


Tightening torque: 25 Nm.

Warnings:
  • If the armature is removed from the motor, the motor brushes will need to be re-adjusted to allow installation.
  • Make sure the armature shaft is removed together with the motor housing.
  • If necessary, use a suitable tool to move the armature together with the electric motor.
