Front seat — removal and installation (Defender 2007+)

Removal

1. Remove the front seat cushion.

For more information, refer to the chapter: Front seat cushion (501-10 Seat, Removal and installation).

2. Remove the two front bolts from the front seat. Disconnect the electrical connector from the front seat heating mat.



3. Remove the front seat.

• Move the front seats forward.
• Remove two bolts.
• Remove 8 spacer washers.

Installation

1. Install the elements in place, acting in the reverse order. Tighten the bolts (tightening torque 23 Nm).
