Front Seat Back Heating Mat (Defender 2007+)

Removal

1. Remove the front seat back upholstery.

For more information, refer to the chapter: Front seat back upholstery (501-10 Seat, Removal and installation).

2. Disconnect the front seat heating mat wiring harness. Remove and discard the two clamps.



3. Remove and discard the front seat back foam pad.



4. Remove and discard the front seat back cushion.

Installation

1. Install the front seat back heating mat onto the seat back cushion.

NOTE: Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.

Install the front seat back cushions. Secure the front seat back cushions with a suitable adhesive.

3. Install the front seat back foam pad.

4. Secure the front seat heating mat wiring harness. Install new wire twist ties.

5. Install the front seat back upholstery.
