Engine identification marking

• Date and time of manufacture
• Engine number

Manual transmission serial number

The manual transmission number is stamped on a cast plate at the bottom of the transmission housing on the right side.

Front axle serial number

The factory number of the front axle is stamped on the left half-shaft of the front axle, inward from the support bracket of the longitudinal arm.

Rear axle serial number

The factory number of the rear axle is stamped on the left half-shaft of the rear axle, inward from the spring support.

Transfer case serial number

The transfer case serial number is stamped on the left side of the transfer case housing below the secondary shaft rear bearing housing near the lower cover.
