Front door trim panel (Defender 2007+)

Removal

1. Remove the two screws securing the door closing handle and remove the door handle.



2. Remove the screw securing the door handle frame and remove the frame.



3. Remove the lock button guide.



4. Remove the two trim panel mounting studs.

5. Using the trim puller, release the 11 fasteners and remove the trim panel.

NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the component is removed for access only.

Remove the fasteners and vibration damping pad from the trim panel.

Installation

1. Install the vibration damping pad and clips to the trim panel.

2. Install the trim panel, align the tabs with the holes in the door and press firmly on the trim panel until it snaps into place.

3. Install the decorative trim panel mounting pins.

4. Install the lock button guide.

5. Install the frame on the door handle and secure with a screw.

6. Install the door closing handle and secure it with screws.
