Removing
1. Remove the rear seat cushions.

2. Remove panels of finishing of apertures of forward doors.
For more information, refer to chapter: Front Doorway Trim Panel (501-05 Interior trim, Removal and installation).
3. Remove the top trim panel "WITH".
For more information, see chapter: C-Pillar Upper Trim Panel - 4.0L, 90 (501-05, Removal and installation) / Front door trim panel (501-05 Interior trim, Removal and installation).
4. Remove the protruding section of the floor console.
For more information, see the chapter: Floor Console Extension (501-12, Removal and installation).
5. Turn out 4 bolts of fastening of the central section of a bar providing protection at overturning, and racks of locks of seat belts to a floor.
6. Remove the 2 Torx bolts and nuts on both sides and disconnect the center section of the ROPS assembly.
7. Turn out on both sides the Torx bolt, which is used to fasten the rod, which provides protection during rollover, to the mounting brackets on the sides of the body.
8. Turn out on both parties 3 bolts and remove washers of fastening of the bottom arms of a bar providing protection at overturning, to a forward part of wheel arches.
9. Remove the 2 Torx bolts on both sides and washers securing the top ROPS bar supports to the ceiling brackets; carefully lower the assembly to the floor.
10. Turn out on both parties bolts of fastening and remove inertia coils of forward seat belts and back seat belts from the support of a bar providing protection at overturning.
11. Supporting on both sides, lift and rotate the roll-over protection bar back to free it from the wheel wells.

NOTE: A second person may be required to remove the rollover protection bar.
Remove the rollover protection bar from the vehicle.
Installation
1. Supporting on both sides, position the rollover bar, secure the uprights at the rear corners and at the front of the side panels. Check the position on the floor.
2. Attach the front retractable seat belt reels and the rear seat belts to the rollover bar supports. Tighten the bolts to 32 Nm (24 lb-ft/ft).
3. Raise the ROPS assembly and secure it to the ceiling mounting brackets. Tighten the bolts to 45 Nm (33 lb-ft/ft).
4. Attach the roll-over protection bar to the wheel arches. Tighten the bolts to 45 Nm (33 lb-ft/ft).
5. Fix the roll-over protection bar to the mounting brackets on the sides of the body by tightening the bolts to 45 Nm (33 lb-ft/ft).
6. Lock the center section of the main ROPS, but do not fully tighten the mounting bolts at this stage.
7. Attach the seat belt buckle posts and ROPS floor mounting brackets to the chassis. Tighten the bolts to 32 Nm (24 lb-ft/ft).
8. Fully tighten the bolts securing the center section of the ROPS boom to 45 Nm (33 lb-ft/ft).
9. Install the raised section of the floor console.

10. Install the top trim panel "WITH".

11. Establish panels of finishing of apertures of forward doors.

12. Install the rear seat cushions.
