Rear headlining trim 90 «station wagon» (Defender 2007+)

Removal


1. Remove the upper C-pillar trim panels.

For more information, please refer to the chapter: (501-05 Interior trim) Top panel of the rack trim - 90/Car with a"station wagon" body (Removal and installation), Top panel of the rack trim - 110/Car with a"station wagon" body (Removal and installation).

2. Remove the rear headliner trim panel.

For more information, refer to the chapter: The back panel of the ceiling trim is 90/110/ A car with a "station wagon" body (501-05 Interior trim, Removal and installation).

3. Remove the rear interior light.

For more information, refer to the chapter: Interior Light (417-02 Interior Lighting, Removal and Installation).

4. Carefully remove the 5 decorative pins securing the front and rear headliner sections to the roof support brackets.

5. Release the front corners of the headliner from the roof edge beam on both sides.

6. Pull the headliner forward enough to release the rear trim section support brackets.

7. Release the rear corners of the headliner from the roof edge beam on both sides.

8.
NOTE: Do not bend the roof liner when removing and installing.


Lower the rear section of the headliner relative to the roof and remove it from the vehicle.

Installation


1. Have a helper position the rear section of the headliner up to the roof and insert the rear corners into the end roof rail.

2. Press the headliner back and position it over the rear trim section support brackets.

3. Insert the front corners of the headliner into the end roof rail.

4. Position the front edge of the rear headliner section over the front headliner section and secure with decorative pins.

5. Adjust the rear headliner section to ensure a good fit in all corners.

6. Install the rear interior light.

7. Install the rear headliner trim panel.

8. Install the upper C-pillar trim panels.
