The console includes a plastic moulding that is secured to the instrument panel with five screws. The new console allows the existing switches to be repositioned and provides the ability to share switches with other Land Rover models.
The central cutout in the console allows for the installation of an audio system (if available) or coin holders for markets without standard audio system equipment.
