Front door frame trim panel (Defender 2007+)

Removal


1. Lift the seat cushion and install the clamp.

2. Remove the rear side trim panel.

For more information, refer to the chapter: Rear Side Trim Panel (501-05 Interior trim, Removal and installation).

3. Remove the speaker mounted on the rear door.

For more information, refer to the chapter: Rear Door Speaker (415-03 Speakers, Removal and installation).

4. Pull back the carpet and remove the 2 screws securing the front door opening trim panel to the wheel arch.

5. Pull down the top edge of the front door opening trim panel to release it from the body channel.

6. Remove the front door opening trim panel.

6. Remove the front door opening trim panel.


Installation


1. Position the front door opening trim panel on the wheel arch.

2. Firmly press the top edge of the front door opening trim panel and position it under the body channel.

3. Secure the front door trim opening panel to the wheel arch with screws and install the carpet in place.

4. Install the speaker mounted on the rear door.

5. Install the rear side trim panel.
