Windshield washer pump (Defender 2007+)

Removal

1. Remove the headlight.

For more information, refer to the chapter: Headlight Assembly (417-01 Exterior Lighting, Removal and Installation).

2. Place a drain pan to collect any spilled liquid.

3. Disconnect the washer pump electrical connector.

4. Disconnect the hose from the washer pump.

5. Disconnect the washer pump from the reservoir and discard the sealing washer.

Installation

1. Install a new sealing washer and secure the pump to the tank.

2. Connect the hose and plug in the electrical connector of the washer pump.

3. Install the headlight.

4. Fill the reservoir with washer fluid.
