Winch gear assembly (Defender 2007+)

Removal

NOTE: The removal procedure description may contain installation steps.

1. Refer to the procedure: Disconnecting and connecting the battery (414-01 Battery, Battery Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).

2. Refer to the procedure: Winch (419-12 Winch, Removal and installation).

NOTE: Mark the position of the components to facilitate subsequent installation.

Tightening torque: 10 Nm.

NOTE: Remove the gasket and discard it.

NOTE: Clean mating surfaces from foreign materials.

Installation

1.

NOTE: Align the part back to its previous position.

NOTE: Install a new gasket.

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
