Seats and seat belts (Defender 2007+)

1. Make sure the seat frames are securely attached to the floor and there are no signs of movement.

2. Check the operation of the seat adjustment mechanisms horizontally and tiltwise and make sure that there is no excessive gap between the seat cushion and backrest.

3. Check the tightness of the accessible seat fastening elements.

4. Pull the seat belt out fully and allow it to return to its original position on its own.

5. Check the entire length of the belt for signs of wear or damage. Repeat for all belts.

6. Check the upper seat belt anchorages.

8. Fasten each belt to the proper buckle and check that the tongue is securely locked into the seat belt buckle. Unfasten the belt buckle and check for proper operation.
