Removal


NOTE: Point the front wheels straight ahead.


1. Remove the lower steering column shaft. Unscrew and discard the 2 bolts.

1. Remove the lower steering column shaft. Unscrew and discard the 2 bolts.


2. Remove the lower steering column shaft.
  • Mark the relative positions of the shafts.
  • Remove and discard the bolt.

Remove and discard the bolt.


Installation


1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
  • Tighten to 30 Nm.

Tighten to 30 Nm.


2. Tighten to 30 Nm.
