Dismantling
1. Place the vehicle on a lift.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
3. Using the LRT-99-027 tool, cut the pipe at the location indicated by the recess.
4. Unscrew and dispose of the 2 nuts and 2 bolts securing the inlet pipe to the intermediate pipe flange.
5. Loosen the nut securing the intermediate suspension of the exhaust system to the body.
6. Remove the intermediate pipe of the exhaust system.

7. Remove the rubber cushion.
Assembly
1. Install the rubber cushion.
2. Wipe the muffler outlet pipe and install the bushing.
3. With the help of a partner, install the intermediate pipe, align the suspension with the mounting points and tighten the mounting nut. Tightening torque is 68 N·m.
4. Center the connecting sleeve, align the intermediate pipe with the muffler outlet pipe and tighten the sleeve clamp nuts. Tightening torque 48 N·m.
5. Align the intermediate pipe with the receiving pipe, fit the bolts with nuts and tighten them. Tightening torque 25 Nm.
6. Check the correct position of the exhaust system.
7. Connect the negative battery terminal.
8. Start the engine. With the engine running, check the exhaust system for leaks. (no exhaust gas breakthrough).
