Intake pipe (Range Rover 3)

Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

The catalytic converter is integrated into the exhaust pipe and is not serviced separately.

Dismantling

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the exhaust system.

EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND EXHAUST SYSTEM: Td6 engine.

REPAIR WORK, Exhaust system and suspension of system elements.

3. Unscrew the 2 nuts securing the intake pipe flange to the turbocharger and remove the intake pipe.

Assembly

1. Wipe the intake pipe flange and mating surfaces.

2. Install the intake pipe, align the flanges, fit the nuts and do not tighten them yet.

3. Reinstall the exhaust system.

EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND EXHAUST SYSTEM: Td6 engine.

REPAIR WORK, Exhaust system and suspension of system elements.

4. Tighten the nuts securing the inlet pipe to the turbocharger. Tightening torque 42 N·m.

5. Connect the negative battery terminal.
