Air intake inlet pipe (Defender 2007+)

Removal

1. Remove the ventilation grille. Remove 7 screws.



2. Release the air intake. Remove the two screws.



3. Remove the wing support bracket. Remove the two bolts.



4. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.



5. Release the air cleaner outlet pipe clamp.





6. Release the air cleaner outlet pipe. Release the clamp.



7. Remove the air intake duct.

Installation

1.

NOTE: To prevent water from entering, check the position of the air inlet duct on the fan motor seal.

Install the elements back in place in reverse order.

2. Tighten (tightening torque 3 Nm).



3. Tighten (tightening torque 3 Nm).
