Fan — removal and installation (Defender 2007+)

Removal

1. Remove the air intake duct.

For more information, refer to the chapter: Air Intake Pipe (412-01 Air distribution and cleaning, Removal and installation).

2.

CAUTION: Plug all openings. Use new caps.

Disconnect the expansion tank tube. Release the clamp.



3. Disconnect the air duct flap control cable. Release the clamp.



4. Disconnect the blower motor resistor electrical connector.



5. Disconnect the blower fan motor electrical connector.





6. Remove the blower fan. Unscrew the 3 nuts.

Installation

1. Install the elements in place in the reverse order. Tighten (tightening torque 15 Nm).
