Assembled microclimate controls (Defender 2007+)

Removal

1. Remove the control panel console.

For more information, refer to the chapter: Instrument Panel Console (501-12 Instrument panel and console, Removal and installation).

2. Remove the climate control panel. Remove 4 screws.



3. Disconnect the fan speed switch electrical connector.



4. Disconnect the air duct flap control cable. Release the clamp.



5. Disconnect the heater control cable. Release the clamp.





6. Disconnect the climate control system illumination electrical connector.



7. Remove the climate control system unit assembly.

• Release the clamps.
• Disconnect the 2 air mix flap control cables.

Installation

1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
