Review

Air is drawn in from outside the vehicle through the right (RH) wing air intake duct, along the inside of the wing to the air cleaner housing inlet. The air passes through the air cleaner and is fed through the air duct to the turbocharger. From the turbocharger, the air is pumped through the intercooler and into the intake manifold.

Air filter housing

The air filter housing is located on the inside of the right wing. The air filter housing is attached to the body on four rubber supports: 2 - on the inside of the wing and 2 - on the base of the air filter housing. Inside the housing is a removable paper filter element.

Charge air cooler

The charge air cooler is located in front of the radiator and is attached to the radiator with two bolts at the top and two mounting points at the bottom. The turbocharger pumps air through the charge air cooler. The density of the cooled air increases, which improves combustion.
