Review
Air is taken in from the outside of the vehicle through the air intake duct on the right (RH) wing, along the inside of the wing to the air filter housing inlet. The air passes through the air filter and enters the turbocharger through the air duct. From the turbocharger, air is pumped through the intercooler and enters the intake manifold.
Air filter housing
The air filter housing is located on the inside of the right fender. The air filter housing is attached to the body on four rubber supports: 2 - on the inside of the wing and 2 - on the base of the air filter housing. Inside the case there is a removable paper filter element.
Air cooler
The charge air cooler is located in front of the radiator and is attached to the radiator with two bolts at the top and two mounting points at the bottom. The turbocharger pumps air through the charge air cooler. The density of the cooled air increases, which improves combustion.
