Front suspension panhard rod (Defender 2007+)

Removal

1. Remove the fasteners from the support arm.

2. Remove the fasteners from the axle bracket.

3. Remove the Panhard bar.

4. Using a suitable piece of steel pipe, press out the flexible bushings. Make sure the pipe is positioned on the outer edge of the bushing and not on the inner rubber part.

Installation

1.

CAUTION: Apply force to the outer edge of the bushing, not the inner rubber portion.

Install repair bushings.

2. Install the Panhard bar onto the axle bracket and the control arm. Tighten the fasteners (tightening torque 230 Nm).
