Rear anti-roll bar rear suspension (Defender 2007+)

Removal

1. When assembling, take into account the position of the rubber bushings on the anti-roll bar.

2. Unscrew the four nuts and remove the bolts and washers securing both stabilizer bar bushing clamps to the chassis support brackets.

3. Loosen the nuts and remove the bolts, washers and rubber bushings securing the anti-roll bar to the struts.

4. Remove the stabilizer.

Installation

1. Install rubber bushings on the stabilizer. Install the hinge in the direction of the bridge.

2. Secure the stabilizer with two clamps.

Make sure the uprights are facing down as shown. Loosely install the bolts, washers and new nyloc nuts.

3. Install the bolt, washers and rubber bushings. Screw in the stabilizer mounting bolts to the struts and tighten to 68 Nm.

4. Tighten the clamp fastening nuts to 30 Nm.
