Removal


1. Loosen the wheel mounting nuts.

2. Install reliable supports under the chassis. Remove the wheel and install a jack under the rear axle.

3. Remove the fasteners and disconnect the shock absorber from the bridge bracket.

4. Remove the upper fastening elements.

5. Remove the shock absorber.

6. Remove the support bracket if required.

7. Remove rubber mounts if required.

Installation


1. Install the shock absorber and upper mounting elements.

2. Attach the shock absorber with the lower fastening elements to the bridge bracket. Tighten the upper and lower fastening elements to 37 Nm.

3. Install the wheels, remove the supports from under the chassis and the jack. Tighten the wheel nuts to the specified torque:
  • 1. Alloy wheels - 130 Nm
  • 2. Steel wheels - 100 Nm
  • 3. Wheels with increased performance characteristics - 170 Nm
