Rear shock absorber (Discovery 1)

1. Loosen the wheel nuts.

2. Raise the rear of the car, place it on stands under the frame, and remove the wheels. Place a jack under the rear axle and lift the axle.

3. Disconnect the shock absorber mounts from the axle.

4. Disconnect the shock absorber mounts from the frame.

5. Remove the shock absorber.

6. If necessary, remove the upper shock absorber support bracket.

7. Replace the rubber bushings if necessary.



8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
