A-arm bushings (Discovery 1)

1. Raise the vehicle and lift the rear axle off the ground. Place supports under the frame.

2. Unscrew the lever bracket fasteners to the frame.

3. Remove the control arm axle bolt on the rear axle.



4. Remove the lever assembly.

5. Unscrew the bolt securing the lever to the bracket.

6. Detach the bracket.



7. Replace the lever bushings.

Caution: Apply pressing force to the outer metal band of the bushing.

8. Installation is carried out in reverse order. The tightening torque for fastening the brackets is 47 Nm, for fastening the lever to the bracket 176 Nm.
