Tie rod bushings (Range Rover 3)

Note: Bushings must be replaced in pairs.

Dismantling

1. Remove the tie rod.

FRONT SUSPENSION, REPAIR WORK, Transverse steering rod.

2. Using tools LRT-60-032/1 and LRT-60-032/2, remove the bushing from the transverse steering rod.

Assembly

1. Clean the bushing and its mounting hole in the steering rod from grease.



2. Position the bushing relative to the steering rod as shown in the figure and install it using tools LRT-60-032/1 and LRT-60-032/3.

3. Install the tie rod.

FRONT SUSPENSION, Anti-roll bar, Transverse steering rod.

4. Repeat the operation for the steering rod located on the other side of the vehicle.
