Rear suspension springs (Discovery 1)

1. Loosen the wheel nuts.

2. Raise the rear of the car, place it on stands under the frame, and remove the wheels.

3. Place a jack under the rear axle and lift the axle.

4. Disconnect the upper shock absorber mount.

5. Install the puller on the spring.

6. Gently compress the spring until it can be removed.

7. Lower the bridge slightly until the spring comes out of the seat.

Caution: When lowering the axle, be careful not to damage the brake hoses.

8. Remove the retaining plate.

9. Remove the spring and insulator.

10. Remove the spring seat.

11. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
