Removing
1.
WARNING: Install secure supports. Raise the back of the car.
2. Remove the rear wheel.
3. Turn out 2 bolts of fastening of a brake support to a nave.
4. Separate the caliper from the disc and tie aside.
- 1. Remove the bolt securing the rear brake tube valve to the differential housing.
- 2. Release both tubes of back brakes from fixing clips of the back bridge.
5. Turn out 5 bolts of fastening of a semiaxis.
6. Remove the axle shaft and discard the gasket.
7. Knock off the caulk and, using a suitable socket, unscrew and discard the nut.
8. Remove the hub nut washer.
9. Remove a nave in gathering with a brake disk and bearings.
10. Remove the outer bearing and spacer from the hub.
11. Remove seal and inner bearing from hub.
12. Remove the inner and outer bearing rings from the hub.
Installation
1. Clean hub and bearing locations.
2. Install the bearing inner and outer races on the hub.
3. Pack inner bearing with grease and install on hub.
4. Install a new seal flush with the back of the hub using tools LRT-54-003 and LRT-99-003.
5. Clean the splined axle shaft.
6. Pack outer bearing with grease and install spacer and bearing onto hub.
7. Install the hub assembly on the axle shaft and remove LRT-54-019.
8. Fit the washer and new hub and tighten the nut to 30 Nm.
9. Rotate and push/pull the hub until the bearings are in a stable position. Tighten the hub nut to 210 Nm.
10. To check the hub end play, install a dial gauge using the LRT-99-503 bracket into the outer hub bolt hole.
11. Move the dial indicator to the contact surface of the hub nut.
12. Move the hub in and out while reading the indicator.
13. If there is end play, refer to the table for the correct spacer if necessary and replace the spacer.

14. When there is no axial clearance, remove the dial gauge and support bracket.
15. Cotter the hub nut.
16. Clear a nave and surfaces of a semiaxis.
17. Install a new outer hub gasket.
18. Install the outer hub on the hub and tighten the new bolts to 65 Nm.
19. Install the original shim (And) on the axle shaft and secure with a retaining ring.
20. Install the caliper on the hub, screw in the bolts and tighten to 82 Nm.
21. Connect the rear brake pipes to the rear axle.
- 1. Install the bolt securing the rear brake pipe valve to the differential housing and tighten it to 15 Nm (11 lb ft)
- 2. Secure both rear brake pipes with the rear axle mounting clips.
22. Install the wheel, remove the supports from under the car and tighten the wheel nuts to 130 Nm.
23. Depress the brake pedal to set the brake pads before starting the vehicle.
24. Check and add brake fluid.
