Rear stabilizer bar (Defender 2007+)

Removal

1. Remove the two nuts and bolts, washers and rubber bushings from the struts. Lower the anti-roll bar to release the struts.

2. Remove the cotter pin and loosen the castle nut a few turns.

3. Release the rack using tool LRT-57-018 as shown.

4. Unscrew the castle nut and remove the rack.

Installation

1. Install the strut and screw on the castle nut. Direct the struts downwards as shown. Tighten the fastener to 40 Nm and install a new cotter pin.

2. Connect the anti-roll bar to the struts.

3. Install the bolts, washers and rubber bushings and screw on new self-locking nuts to secure the anti-roll bar to the struts. Tighten to 68 Nm.
