Rear stabilizer bar tie rod (Discovery 3)

Removal

1.

CAUTION: Never work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with special stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the wheel.

3.

CAUTION: To prevent the ball joint from turning, use the supplied Allen key.

Remove the stabilizer bar. Unscrew and discard the 2 nuts.

Installation

1. Install the stabilizer bar. Tighten the nuts. (tightening torque 115 Nm).

2. Install the wheel. Tighten the wheel nuts. (tightening torque 140 Nm).
