General information
Independent rear suspension provides a reduction in unsprung weight compared to the solid axle used on previous Land Rover models. The rear suspension comprises an upper control arm, a lower control arm, a wheel knuckle and wheel hub, two coil spring modules and a stabilizer and strut assembly. The shock absorber modules are of similar design and may contain a spring or air spring element.
The rear suspension control arms provide maximum ground clearance and allow you to adjust the camber angle using an eccentric bolt, and toe-in and bump steer using a transverse adjustment rod.
