Removal
1.
CAUTION: Do not work on or under a vehicle that is supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle securely.
Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the wheel and tire.
3. Loosen the 3 spring and shock absorber mounting nuts.

4. Disconnect the shock absorber and spring assembly from the lower control arm.
- Using a jack and a suitable wooden block, support the base of the shock absorber.
- Loosen the nut and remove the bolt.

5. Unscrew the nuts securing the shock absorber and spring assembly.

6. Remove the shock absorber and spring assembly.
Installation
1. Install the shock absorber and spring assembly.
- Make sure that the contact surfaces of the upper spring mount and
- shock absorbers assembled to the body are clean.
- Tighten the nuts, but do not tighten them completely yet.
2. Connect the shock absorber and spring assembly to the lower arm.
- Tighten the nut and bolt to 300 Nm.
- Tighten the three nuts to 70 Nm.
3. Install the wheel with the tire. Tighten the wheel mounting nuts to a torque of 140 Nm.
