Guide bearing — removal and installation (Defender 2007+)

	Bearing mounting device 205-081
	Bearing puller 303-078

Removal

1.

WARNING: Never work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with special stands.

Raise the vehicle and place supports underneath it.

2. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

3. Remove the clutch slave and pressure plates.

4. Using a suitable tool, break off the guide bearing.



5. Using the special tool, remove the guide bearing.

Installation

1. Using the special tool, install the guide bearing.

2. Install the clutch slave and pressure plates.

3. Connect the ground wire to the battery.
