Removal


1.
WARNING: Never work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with special stands.


Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Disconnect the front part of the muffler from the catalytic converter. Unscrew and discard the 2 nuts.

3. Disconnect the front part of the muffler from the exhaust pipe.
  • Unscrew and discard 3 nuts.
  • Remove the gasket and dispose of it.

4. Remove the intermediate pipe and muffler.

Installation


1.
NOTE: Install a new gasket.


NOTE: Install new nuts.


Reinstall the elements in reverse order. Tighten (tightening torque 30 Nm).
