CAUTION: If the front airbags have deployed, the following components must be replaced:
- Driver airbag module
- Steering wheel
- Passenger airbag module
- Instrument panel
- Additional wires (only if equipped) connecting the front airbags to the SRS harnesses
- All seat belt pretensioners
- Seat belts must be replaced on all seats occupied at the time of the accident
- Any seat belt whose pretensioner has deployed should be replaced
- Rotary contactor
- Any of the front impact sensors if there are signs of physical damage or if a malfunction has been registered
- RCM
In addition, it is necessary to check the condition of the following components and replace them if necessary:
- Front passenger seat belt tensioner (inertia reel) - check the condition of the belt, buckle lock, attachment point to the body
- Rear seat belt anchorages - check the condition of the belts, buckle covers, body attachment points and operation of the buckle locks
- Front seat frame and headrests
- Steering column - for adjustment violations and "folding" of the column
- Shoulder belt adjusters
- Rear seat belts
