Rear-end car collision (Freelander 2)

CAUTION: If the seat belt pretensioners deploy during a rear impact, the following components should be replaced:

• Seat belt pretensioners
• Front and rear seat belt inertia reels deployed during impact
• RCM

In addition, it is necessary to check the condition of the following components and replace them if necessary:

• Shoulder belt adjusters
• Front seat belts - check the condition of the belt, inertia reels, buckle locks, attachment points to the body
• Rear seat belt anchorages - condition of belts, trim covers, buckle locks and attachment points to the body
