Towing a car (Freelander 2)

When towing the vehicle, connect the remote control and turn on the ignition. (The steering lock is unlocked and the signal lights are on.) Only then will the steering, turn signals, horn and brake lights operate. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury.

It is important to remember that when the engine is not running, the power steering and power brakes do not work, so more effort will be required to turn the steering wheel and brake.
