Low pressure pump

The low pressure pump is built into the injection pump and is used to supply fuel from the fuel tank through the fuel filter (for more information, please refer to the section on high-pressure fuel pumps).

The suction pressure generated by the low pressure pump is -30 to -20 kPa.

Fuel filter

Fuel filter

The container-type fuel filter is located in front of the right rear wheel and is protected from damage by a steel plate.

For more information, refer to the chapter: Fuel tank and fuel lines - ID4 2.4L diesel engine (310-01 Fuel tank and fuel lines - Diesel engine ID4 2.4L, Description and operating principle).

Fuel cooler

Fuel cooler

The liquid fuel cooling system is located behind the left front wheel. To increase heat transfer, the cooler is connected to the cooling system.

For more information, refer to the chapter: Fuel tank and fuel lines - ID4 2.4L diesel engine (310-01 Fuel tank and fuel lines - Diesel engine ID4 2.4L, Description and operating principle).
