Checking the coolant level

1. Check the coolant level and top up if necessary.

2. With the engine cold, remove the expansion tank cap.

3. Fill the reservoir with the recommended antifreeze solution until the float in the filler neck rises to the top position.

CAUTION: The coolant level must not be higher than the base of the float when the float is in its uppermost position.

4. Check the concentration of antifreeze in the coolant.

5. Check the condition of the sealing rings and the tank cap and replace if necessary.

6. Replace the expansion tank cap.

Replacing the coolant

1. Replace the coolant.
