3. Check the brake discs for cracks, scoring or signs of oiling.

4. Check the thickness of the brake discs. Take 4 measurements at 90° intervals.
- Permissible thickness of front discs = 28.4 mm
- Permissible thickness of rear discs = 10.4 mm
- Thickness variation, no more than 0.010 mm
5. Check for brake fluid leaks from the calipers.
6. Clean the pads, calipers and discs from traces of brake pad wear using brake cleaner fluid.
7. Install the front and rear brake pads.

Parking brake
1. With the vehicle parked on level ground, apply and release the parking brake. Check its operation.
