Brake pads
1. Raise the front wheels, check the condition (thickness) brake pads and check that both wheel brake pads are evenly worn.
2. Check the brake discs for cracks, nicks or oil marks.
NOTE: If it is necessary to replace the brake pads or brake discs as a result of an inspection that involves additional labor and/or consumables, this work should not be performed without prior notice to the customer.
3. Check for signs of leakage of brake fluid through the seals of the calipers, hoses or connections.
4. Clean the pads, calipers and brake disc guards from brake pad wear with brake cleaner.
Drum brake pads
1. For a vehicle with sufficient ground clearance: remove the rubber plugs from the brake shield.
2. Using a portable lamp, inspect the thickness of the brake pads.
NOTE: If it is necessary to replace the brake pads, as a result of the inspection, this represents an additional labor and / or cost of consumables and therefore this work should not be performed without prior notice to the customer.
3. Make sure there are no traces of brake fluid on the brake pads or traces of brake fluid leakage on the brake drum or brake shield.
4. Upon completion of the check, securely fasten the rubber plug in the hole of the brake shield.
Brake drums
1. For a vehicle with sufficient ground clearance and wheels removed: remove the rear wheel brake drums.

2. Check the thickness of the brake pads and the condition of the pads for signs of brake fluid leakage.
3. Check the brake drums for cracks, nicks or oil marks.
NOTE: If the inspection results in the need to replace the brake pads or wheel cylinders or brake drums, then this work should not be performed without prior notice to the customer, because they include additional labor and / or cost of consumables.
4. Clean the pads, calipers and brake disc guards from brake pad wear with brake cleaner.
5. Restoration of brake drums.
