Fuel vapor separator (Range Rover 3)

Before disconnecting the battery, carefully read the "Disconnecting the Battery" section and follow all instructions therein.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Precautions when working with electrical equipment.

Removal

1. Place the car on a lift.

2. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

3. Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.

4. Disconnect the filler pipe hose and the fuel vapor canister hose from the mounting brackets on the fuel tank.



5. Loosen the 2 clamps and disconnect the 2 hoses from the fuel tank. Remove the 2 separator mounting parts and disconnect it from the fuel tank.

Installation

1. Install the fuel vapor separator in place and secure it with 2 fasteners, connect the 2 hoses to the fuel tank and secure them with clamps.



2. Install the filler pipe hose and the absorber hose onto the fuel tank and secure them with the mounting brackets.

3. Install the fuel tank on the vehicle.

4. Connect the ground wire of the battery.
