Removing
1. Put the car on a flat horizontal platform and install wheel chocks under the rear wheels.
2. Raise the vehicle and place it securely on stands or use a lift.
3. Disconnect the steering shock absorber from the tie rod.

4. Using puller LRT-57-018, disconnect the tie rod ball joint from the steering arm.
5. Mark the pitman arm and steering box for easy assembly.
6. Bend the tabs on the lock washer, loosen the nut, but do not unscrew it completely.
7. Install the LRT-57-012 puller and remove the steering arm from the splines of the steering mechanism.
8. Loosen the nut and discard the lock washer.
9. Remove the steering arm.
Installation
1. Center the steering gear.

2. Align the alignment marks and fit the steering arm onto the splines of the steering mechanism.
3. Install a new lock washer and screw on the nut. Tighten to 176 Nm and bend the tabs of the lock washer.
4. Connect the tie rod to the steering arm. Tighten the ball joint nut to 40 Nm.
5. Remove the supports or remove the vehicle from the lift.
