Steering gear centering (Defender 2007+)

General procedures

1. Disconnect the longitudinal steering rod of the sector shaft from the steering arm.

2. Turn the steering wheel to the right extreme lock position.

3. Turn the steering wheel back exactly two turns.

4. Install the sector shaft longitudinal steering rod.

5. Repeat this operation on left-hand drive vehicles, but with the steering wheel turned to the left extreme lock position.
