Dismantling
1. Remove the steering gear.

2. While firmly holding the steering gear, remove the 2 Torx bolts that secure the tie rods. Discard the bolts.
3. Remove the lock plate.
4. Remove steering drafts and remote plugs.
CAUTION: Note the orientation of the spacers before disassembly.
5. Remove collars from pipelines of the steering mechanism.
6. Loosen 4 couplings and remove both pipelines.
CAUTION: Always plug fittings and openings to keep dirt out of the system.
7. Turn away a bolt of fastening of the arm supporting the pipeline, and remove an arm.
8. Remove 2 collars of fastening of a protective cover.
9. Remove the protective boot O-ring.
10. Remove the protective cover.
11. Remove the sealing band of the protective cover.
12. Remove the guide sleeve and clamp assembly.
13. Remove the collar from the guide sleeve.
Installation
1. Wipe the guide bush and clamp and remove any grease from them.
2. Put a collar on the plug and establish them on the steering mechanism.
3. Lubricate the rack shaft protrusion, guide bushing, and yoke with the grease included in the protective boot kit.
4. Replace the protective boot sealing band.
5. Install the protective cover.
6. Install the protective boot O-ring.
7. Align the protective boot with the guide bush to ensure that the guide bush is in the correct position. Screw on the steering rod mounting bolts to fix the protective cover. Do not overtighten the bolts.
CAUTION: Do not tighten the bolts more than 4-5 turns.
8. After making sure that the protective cover is not twisted, fix it with clamps.
9. Install the pipe support bracket and tighten its bolt.
10. Clean the pipe fittings and fittings on the steering gear housing.
11. Connect both pipelines and tighten the smaller diameter couplings to 18 Nm and the larger diameter couplings to 24 Nm.
12. Install pipe clamps.
13. Turn away bolts of fastening of steering drafts which have been used for fixing of a protective cover. Install spacer bushings and lock plate to steering gear.
CAUTION: Make sure that the spacers are installed without distortion with the correct side.
14. Install the tie rods parallel to the steering box and tighten the new Torx bolts to 100 Nm.
15. Install the steering gear.
