Examination
1. Make sure that the tire pressure is correct, and the load is the curb weight of the vehicle.
2. Roll the car forward - backward to relieve stress in the suspension and steering elements.
3. Make sure the wheel alignment equipment is properly calibrated.
4. Check up, whether installation angles of forward wheels correspond to admissible values.
TECHNICAL DATA, Steering. Adjustment
1. Mark the position of each tie rod end relative to the tie rod.
2. Loosen the tie rod fixing bolts located on the tie rods and tie rod ends.
3. Turn the adjusting rods to make the adjustment. Make sure that the tie rod ends do not turn.
WARNING: The right and left adjusting rods must turn at the same angle.
4. Check up again a convergence of forward wheels.
5. Tighten the adjusting rod fixing bolts, which are located on the steering rods and steering rod ends, with a torque of 28 Nm.
CAUTION: Make sure the slots on the tie rods are in line.
