Dismantling
1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.
2. Remove the key from the ignition lock.
3. Remove the top and bottom parts of a casing of a steering column.

4. Disconnect the multi-pin electrical connectors from the ignition switch and the immobilizer coil.
5. Remove the immobilizer coil.
6. Turn away 2 screws of fastening of the lock of ignition and remove the lock.
7. To provide access to the bolts of the steering wheel locking mechanism, move aside the rubber pad of the steering column.
8. Nakernut both bolts of fastening of the mechanism of blocking of a steering wheel.
9. Drill out both bolts of fastening of the mechanism of blocking of a steering wheel.
10. Remove the steering wheel lock support and remove the lock mechanism.
11. Models with automatic transmission: Loosen and disconnect the ignition lock cable from the steering column.
Installation
1. Models with automatic transmission: Connect the ignition lock cable to the steering column and tighten its fastening to 4 Nm.
2. Install the steering wheel lock mechanism to the steering column and tighten the shear bolts. Do not completely tighten the shear bolts yet.
3. Insert the ignition key, check the operation of the steering wheel lock mechanism and make sure that the key turns without binding.
4. Check for proper functioning of the ignition lock cable.
5. Remove the ignition key.
6. Fully tighten the shear bolts and cut off the heads.
7. Establish the ignition lock on a steering column, wrap and tighten screws of its fastening.
8. Install the immobilizer coil.
9. Connect the multi-pin electrical connectors to the ignition switch and immobilizer coil.
10. Models with automatic transmission: Check that the microswitch is working properly.
11. Install the trim.
12. Establish the top and bottom parts of a casing of a steering column.

13. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
