Dismantling
1. Remove the airbag module from the steering wheel.

2. On models with heated steering wheel: Disconnect the trolley assembly connector.
CAUTION: Turn the steering wheel to the position corresponding to the direction of the wheels for straight-ahead driving. This will ensure that the trolley is locked when the steering wheel is removed.
3. Secure the steering wheel and remove the mounting screws.

4. Right-hand drive vehicles: When the vehicle's wheels are aligned for straight-ahead driving, the mark on the steering column should align with the mark on the steering wheel, as shown in the figure above.
NOTE: The marks on the steering wheel are spaced 105° apart.

5. Left-hand drive vehicles: When the vehicle's wheels are aligned for straight-ahead driving, the mark on the steering column should align with the mark on the steering wheel, as shown in the figure above.

6. Note the alignment of the marks on the steering wheel and steering column and remove the steering wheel.
NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the component is removed only for ease of access.
7. On models with heated steering wheel: Disconnect the connector blocks from the steering wheel electronic control unit retainers and remove the heated steering wheel electronic control unit.
8. Remove the 4 screws securing the steering wheel trims and remove the trims.
9. Remove the airbag fasteners.
Assembly
1. Install the airbag retainers.
2. Install the pads and secure them with screws.
3. On models with heated steering wheel: Position the heated steering wheel control unit, connect the connector block and install the unit in place. Secure the connector blocks into the retainers.
4. Make sure the vehicle wheels are turned to the straight-ahead position and the current collector is locked in the correct position.
5. Carefully install the steering wheel, ensuring that it engages with the current collector and is correctly positioned relative to the steering column.
6. Install the steering wheel mounting screw and tighten it to a torque of 63 N·m.
7. On models with heated steering wheel: Connect the current collector assembly connector.
8. Install the driver's airbag.
