Checking the fluid level
1. Clean the area around the power steering reservoir cap and level marks from dirt.
2. Check the condition of the working fluid. If there are air bubbles, wait until they disappear, then add the recommended working fluid to the level mark "UPPER".
3. Replace the reservoir cap.
Bleeding the hydraulic system
1. Remove the cap of the hydraulic booster reservoir and add the recommended working fluid to the level mark "UPPER". The working fluid must always be in the hydraulic booster reservoir when air is removed.
2. Start the engine and let it idle for 10 seconds. Stop the engine.
3. Add working fluid to the tank to the upper level.
4. Start the engine and turn the steering wheel to the extreme left and right positions. Stop the engine.
5. Add working fluid to the tank to the upper level.
6. Start the engine and let it run for 2 minutes, turn the steering wheel to the extreme left and right positions.
CAUTION: Do not leave the steering wheel in the end position for more than 10 seconds.
