Power steering fluid cooler (KV6) (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the front bumper.

2. Place a container under the power steering system pipes to collect the working fluid.



3. Using the LRT-57-044 tool, release and disconnect the power steering system hoses from the working fluid cooler.

4. Unscrew 2 bolts and remove the working fluid cooler.

Installation

1. Install the cooler mounting screws and tighten them to 10 Nm.

2. Clean the hose connection points from dirt.

3. Connect the power steering hoses to the power steering fluid cooler.

4. Reinstall the front bumper.
