Removal

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING: Ensure that the vehicle is supported securely.

2. Remove the tie rod end. Refer to procedure: Tie Rod End (211-03 Steering Gear, Removal and Installation).

NOTE: Mark the installation position.

Installation

1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.

Clean mating surfaces from foreign material. Make sure the cover is installed correctly.
